Who will win this year super bowl and why?

Who will win this year super bowl and why?

Super Bowl XLVII American football game between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Baltimore Ravens and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion San Francisco 49ers to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2012 season. It will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 3, 2013 at 6:30 EST.
What are some reasons why the San Francisco 49ers will win the Super Bowl? Start with recent NFC domination, add a dash of Colin Kaepernick and take a look at the stock market results. Check out five reasons the 49ers will win Super Bowl XLVII. The team representing the NFC is 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS over the last five Super Bowls, and that trend could continue this Sunday when the San Francisco 49ers take on the Baltimore Ravens. An Francisco was sitting as a 4-point favorite at Bovada, a half point higher than at many other Vegas and online sports books, but many observers feel this game may be a blowout.

Why 49ers will win Super Bowl XLVII?

1. Best running game

With Frank Gore and LaMichael James in the backfield and a loaded wide receiving corps, there just doesn't seem to be a defense for this 49ers squad. Focus on taking away the run, and Kaepernick will beat you through the air.

2. Kaepernick will make difference

In the divisional round, Kaepernick blew up the Green Bay Packers' defense both in the air and on the ground with 263 passing yards and two passing touchdowns and 181 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
In the conference finals, when Atlanta committed its defense to taking away Kaepernick's running lanes , the young quarterback beat them with an effective passing day (16/21, 233 yards) and some great read-handoffs that led to three rushing scores.
Focus on the pass, and the running game (which averaged over 150 rushing yards per game during the regular season) will make you pay. Baltimore has faced some great offenses so far this postseason, but none with a dual-threat quarterback like Kaepernick (who is the Super Bowl MVP favorite). Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are future Hall of Famers, but neither can ruun to save their lives.

3. Odds makers

A lot early money poured in on Baltimore last week, perhaps public money jumping on the Ray Lewis 'Team of Destiny' bandwagon. But that bandwagon doesn't always lead to the payout window at the sports book.
A lot of sharper action is on San Francisco and the fact odds makers are not panicking and pushing the spread down further to -3 is an indication they expect a 49ers victory, according to Jack Randall of OddsShark.com.

4. Solid Defense

And while the offense has taken the spotlight, let's not forget that the San Francisco 49ers had one of the best defenses in the NFL during the regular season, allowing just 17.1 points per game. They've looked vulnerable in the playoffs, but gave up only 10 second-half points to Green Bay and no second-half points to Atlanta.
With an extra week to focus and prepare, a slow start shouldn't be in the cards for this talented unit, which has the front seven to pressure Joe Flacco.

5. The stock market says so

Most financial observers see Wall Street making gains in 2013. The Super Bowl Indicator - a myth that happens to have been a pretty accurate predictor - states that NFC winners lead to a robust year while AFC winners lead to losses and stagnation.

6. The super computer prediction

San Francisco is stacked on both sides of the ball and the OddsShark.com prediction formula has picked a 30-25 final score. The 49ers will face a very formidable foe in the Baltimore Ravens, but when the dust settles, look for them to make more plays and come out on top
