Best movies of summer 2013
This is my second part of blog on summer blockbusters movies. In this part you will read and watch videos of some more summer best movies. My blog will help you all in saving money as you will good idea which movies will be good to watch in summer time.
Despicable Me 2- Release-July 3
Gru (Steve Carell) is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to help them fight a villain named Eduardo (Al Pacino). Kristen Wigg, Russell Brand and Miranda Cosgrove also lend their voices to this sequel.
The Lone Ranger – Release-July 3
The masked Western hero heads back to the big screen in this Gore Verbinski-directed retelling starring Armie Hammer as John Reid/The Lone Ranger and Johnny Depp as his sidekick, Tonto.
Okay so these are the big shockers (double entendre intended). Beyond Johnny Depp’s presence, The Lone Ranger trailers barely left an impression on us – and the World War Z trailers haven’t even bothered to explained that the hordes of fake-looking CGI monsters are actually “Z”ombies. There are about 5 other films on the horizon we could (and would) rate above these two seemingly generic genre flicks – both of which had very troubled productions, by the way. The fact that they rank at all just proves that mass-marketing approaches like Super Bowl ads really are the only way some people become aware of movies.
Pacific Rim- Release date: July 12
When an alien attack threatens the Earth's existence, giant robots piloted by humans are deployed to fight off the menace. Directed by Guillermo del Toro ("Pan's Labyrinth").
It’s a bit telling (and unnerving) that Guillermo del Toro’s “Robots vs. Monsters” love-letter to Japanese cinema appears nowhere on this list. Could legendary pictures (and del Toro) be in for a big loss
The Smurfs 2-Release date: July 31
The Smurfs team up with their human friends to rescue Smurfette, who has been kidnapped by Gargamel because she knows a secret spell that can turn his newest creation -- creatures called the Naughties -- into real Smurfs. Starring Neil Patrick Harris, Sofia Vergara, Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays and a voice cast including Katy Perry
Elysium-Release date: Aug. 9
In a future where the wealthy have abandoned Earth to the poor, one man (Matt Damon) tries to break in to the idyllic spaceship called Elysium where the upper class now lives. Directed by Neill Blomkamp ("District 9") and also starring Jodie Foster.
One Direction: This Is Us-Release date: Aug. 30
This 3-D concert film offers an all-access pass to the hit British boy band and their world tour, directed by "Supersize Me" helmer Morgan Spurlock.
